Current consultation on draft specifications for ISPMs
Background
Specifications for ISPMs outline the content and scope of a future ISPM and are used by the expert drafting groups to draft the ISPM.
Once the SC approves the draft specification for consultation, the IPPC Secretariat makes it publicly available and solicits comments through the IPPC Online Comment System (OCS) from contracting parties, RPPOs, national plant protection services of non-CPs, relevant international organizations, and other entities as decided by the SC.
The consultation period for the below draft Specifications has now CLOSED.
The compiled comments are posted below. We invite the IPPC Official contact points to review the compiled comments and contact the Secretariat if their comments have not been recorded correctly.
The following draft specifications were submitted for consultation:
- Annex to ISPM 38: Annex 1 - Design and use of systems approaches for phytosanitary certification of seeds (2018-009) Priority 1
- Criteria for the determination of host status for fruit flies based on available information (Annex to ISPM 37) (2018-011) Priority 3
- Draft specification for the Technical Panel on Commodity Standards (TPCS) (2019-009), Priority 1
